Pot of Gold is number one of four Rainbow Garden Collections, all of which boast seeds from colorful food cultivars. Some have colorful fruits whilst others have colorful leaves, but all will add splashes of color throughout your garden and the taste of fresh grown, healthy food to your table.

• Tomato 'Isis Candy'(Solanum lycopersicum) Sweet cherry tomatoes that tout fruits of red and orange mottling that contrast nicely against sturdy dark green plants.

• Pepper 'Sunbright' (Capsicum annuum) An heirloom bell pepper variety that boasts bright yellow sweet bell peppers all season long.

• Cucumber 'Painted Serpent' (Cucumis melo var. flexuosus) An Armenian (burpless) cucumber that is light green with dark green stripes running the length of the fruit. Can grow up to 36” long but tends to curl up on itself mimicking a “snake” like appearance.

• Lettuce 'Red Velvet' (Lactuca sativa) A loose leaf lettuce cultivar with leaves that fade from green at the base to bright burgundy at the top.

• Asparagus 'Precoce D'Argenteuil' (Asparagus officinalis) A French heirloom asparagus that was also known as” White Gold”. If covered (blanched) the stalks will turn an ivory white color but if not the stalks will come up a pink and green mottled color.

• Kalettes® Mix (Brassica oleracea) An English cross between Kale and Brussels sprouts, Kalettes are a new fun plant for the vegetable garden.

• Red Malabar Spinach (Basella rubra) A summer spinach alternative that grows all summer long. Excellent for salads and stir-fries.

• Broccoli 'Early Purple Sprouting' (Brassica oleracea var. italica) A fast growing and colorful English heirloom. 

Each variety of seeds included in this collection is individually packaged with growing instructions and has been responsibly sourced from environmentally friendly suppliers or grown in our central Texas gardens (free from pesticides).
